The XXIV Anprotec Seminar on Science Parks and Business Incubation is taking place this week (September 22-26) in Belém, in the state of Pará, Brazil.

Under the topic “Frontiers of innovative entrepreneurship: new connections for results”, the XXIV Anprotec Seminar on Science Parks and Business Incubation will include plenary sessions, parallel sessions, technical sessions and workshops. The challenge is to seek ways for innovation environments to expand their connections with the public and private sectors in order to become more autonomous, thereby contributing even more to the sustainable development of their surrounding regions. About 600 participants are expected to participate in the 2014 seminar. More here.

The EU-Brazil Technology and Innovation Forum is organized by the B.BICE+ consortium at the occasion of the Anprotec seminar, in its advantageous context to promote links with the Brazilian innovation actors. B.BICE+ is organizing different events and encounters, including the event “Opportunities for Brazilian SMEs, Technological Parks and other innovation actors for cooperation with Europe” and the "Tour of Brazil", which aims to make more visible the EU ST&I landscape to Brazilian partners and to open avenues for new EU-Brazil cooperations and strengthen bilateral relations.
