Read the steps below to understand how the CONNECT exchange programme works in practice.
If you’re interested in the CONNECT exchange programme, you can apply as a new entrepreneur here. Make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria and that you have your Business Plan ready!
All applications will be screened to verify if requirements are met. Qualified candidates will be reviewed online by a Selection Committee. The strongest candidates will be pre-selected based on profile, quality of application and matching potential.
If you’re a pre-selected candidate, you will be invited to a short phone/skype interview as part of the final selection. All candidates will be notified of the outcome of the selection process.
The feedback from you and your potential host entrepreneur will be taken into account in order to make a final match. Once the matching is confirmed, both parties can start to plan the activities in Brazil!
Planning and Commitment
You and EBN – the organization managing the CONNECT exchange programme, will sign a written agreement specifying the plan of activities and duration of the stay, responsibilities, financial conditions, etc. The financial assistance will be provided according to the terms set out in this agreement.
The CONNECT management team will provide you with the support to make this an efficient and burden free process. You will also be given a full orientation pack answering practical questions and providing guidance and resources to help you make the most of the experience.
The minimum duration of the stay abroad is 1 month and the maximum duration is 6 months. Check responsibilities & activities for a better overview of what the experience can be like.
The CONNECT management team will be at your disposal for any practical assistance needed during your stay in Brazil. Once you complete the exchange you will be asked to fill a feedback form evaluating the programme.
